The estate

The village of Saint Martin d’Ardèche is situated at the junction of 4 wine-growing departments upstreaming the river Ardèche, where it forms a delta with the Rhône.

This particularly protected site, backed to the hills of Saint Marcel, faces the ramparts of Aiguèze.

Worked in the tradition manor four generations, the DOMAINE NICOLAS CROZE is situated in the COTES DU RHONE appellation on the localities of Saint Martin, Aiguèze, Saint Just, Saint Marcel and Pont St Esprit and covers 30 hectares. The diversity of grape varieties of the property make possible to present Côtes du Rhône reds obtained from blends of black Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Carignan and Côtes du Rhône whites from white Grenache, Viognier and Marsanne.

Our terroir

The diversity of our terroir is reflected in our wines :

  • Our calcareous clay soils produce palatables, easy drinking and fruity wines.
  • Our rock laden limestone soil gives racey well structured and full bodied wines

Our work

Respectful of the nature and the vine, our estate is sustainebly farmed and the harvest is manual in order to insure a perfect selective sorting of the grapes .

During the winemaking, we use different classic methods (whole grapes, pigeages, carbonic maceration, …) Vinified, aged and bottled at the property , the wines come exclusively from our vineyard.
